One of HUGs community outreach programs is visiting children’s homes.
On 23rd of November 2019, HUGs in partner with Sir Jay Suits had a Fun day activity at Total Rehab Centre for Disabled Children. Some of the fun activities we had were:-
- Cooking and feeding the kids
- Gifts presentation
- Play and interactions
We managed to gift them two wheelchairs, plenty of dry foods, clothes and dozens of adult diapers.
Total Rehab Centre for Disabled children is residential home care for children with special needs. The Centre is located at, Nairobi county, Kasarani Constituency off Thika road, along Mwiki Kasarani Road next to St. Francis Hospital, about 700 meters from the main road.

• Mental retardation
• Down syndrome
• Spinal Bifida
• Sensory integration disorders
. Cerebral Palsy cases starting from mild, severe to most profoundly affected children
